How Auctions Work
Everything you need to know before placing your first bid.
Fixed ending time
Every auction has a fixed countdown. Bidding does not add extra time, so when the clock reaches zero the auction ends.
Placing a bid
Enter or tap the next available bid amount. If another buyer bids higher, you can bid again while the auction remains live.
Outbid alerts
If notifications are enabled, we can alert you when another buyer beats your bid so you can return to the auction quickly.
Winning
If you are the highest bidder when the timer reaches zero, the item is yours. You will see a congratulations screen and the item will appear in your Won area.
Unsold items
Items that receive no successful bid may be automatically relisted with a fresh auction timer.
